I know our birds can't live forever. I just don't think the products that endanger their lives should exist without a prominant warning to pet owners.:)

I am not saying they shouldn't exist for those who have no pets. But why should our pets and we suffer that these manufacturers are affraid to warn us because of liability or lost sales due to people thinking well if it's dangerous to pets, what is it doing to us?

They should be liable!!! I don't believe in sueing people but if that's what it takes be my guest.

These creatures are innocent and depend on us to keep them safe.

They are our extended families and are just as important to our well being as any of our human family.

So please help us get the word out. Also please if you have comments email me or sign one of the guest books. Thank You:)

11-8-2008 I thought you might be interested in this campaign to get household cleaner manufacturers to follow New York's chemical right-to-know law. If you go to the link below you can check out what is at stake and send your own message directly to state officials.

I can not understand how Procter and Gamble can test on animals and still kill them after the product is proven safe for use around them!!!

Remember: most do not test on birds. This is good as it goes without saying; they have very sensitive respiratory systems and most likely will be affected. Thus a special warning should be put on the label automatically.

Birds are extra sensitive and most companies don't think they have the same value or emmotional attachement as cats and dogs.

How wrong they are!!! We love our birds as much or more than our dogs and cats. They are like little people and live longer than dogs and cats.:)

Just look at the billions spent on them each year!!!

They are like a small person with feathers. Their emmotional needs are great and therefore a lot goes into their well being.:)

I haven't bought any Procter and Gamble products in over ten years. I only used one anyway so I guess I didn't find their products too good to begin with.:-)

8-4-1999 Procter and Gamble removed the zinc chloride from Frebreze!!! If it wasn't harmful; why did they remove it? And yes I'm aware that it isn't an aerosol.:-) That doesn't mean it can be inhaled safely. In fact a lot of products are not aerosol anymore. They are inhaled just the same. Sprays make a product environmentally safe. You still have to use precautions.:-)

When is Procter and Gamble, and the manfacturers of products using polytetraflouroethylene (PTFE) going to wake up???

I'm telling you they aren't as long as it's good for their pockets.:(

Hit them where it hurts and you can be sure they will take notice!!!

We have to unite in this effort as too many of our fids are being killed!!!

The least you can do is warn everyone you know. The best you can do is warn everyone and don't buy any Procter and Gamble or TeflonŽ coated products.:)

Here is a list of Procter and Gamble products!

Here is what Wendy had to say when her dog may have had an adverse effect to Frebreeze!

Here is a message from a Veterinarian about Frebreeze!

Remember even though it doesn't have polytetraflouroethylene there could be a polymer base coating on appliances that are chrome, stainless steel etc., including pots and pans that protect them from corrosion in storage.

Heating these can be just as deadly as TeflonŽ !!!:(
